With a strong background in investment readiness, leadership coaching, and business development, he has successfully guided numerous companies through scaling challenges and market positioning.
During his career, Matt also served as a Managing Partner at Legacy Angel Network, where he played a pivotal role in raising over $14 million for Florida-based startups. His ability to build partnerships and investment networks has driven long-term business success.
Matt’s leadership extends beyond the business world. As a former Lead Pastor at Bayfront Village Church and Calvary Chapel of Melbourne, he developed and mentored teams, built community-focused congregations, and provided guidance to emerging leaders. His people-first approach to leadership is a hallmark of his career—whether in ministry, business development, or public policy. Matt brings a wealth of experience in high-stakes fundraising, strategic growth planning, and building high-value networks and is a sought-after speaker on leadership, investment, and innovation. ​Matt has been married to his wife Kelly who he's been with since high school, they have 3 adult kids, and 3 grandkids. Matt and Kelly raised their family on the Space Coast and still reside there today. Matt loves playing basketball, watching football & soccer. Above all else, Matt's faith is everything that holds him together. From it all that is good in him resides.
